An imposing building on four levels, it has had a long and varied history, including at one time trading as a pub. When the pub ceased in 1934, the building took on the life of a shop and more recently was known as “The Music Shop”.

Now the home of Bar Hawthorn a Cocktail Bar, upstairs has table service, serving in-house creations and classics and finally downstairs serves draft beer, classic cocktails, and a wide selection of wines by the glass.
